Early development decisions

Since SooSuu is still in early development, many changes can be expected. Over the past few days, two major changes have been made:

Artist approval

Starting today, only approved artists can post artwork under their account. This helps ensure a consistent level of quality across the platform.

Artists can request approval by contacting support at [email protected] and providing examples of their work for review. If a curated account featuring their work already exists, they are already considered approved, and can simply request ownership of that account.

Regular users can still post publicly available works by other artists, provided that at least one source link is included. Once a karma scoring system is implemented, users will be credited for these posts.

AI-generated content

After careful consideration, the policy on AI-generated content has been updated. An earlier approach allowed such content with proper tagging, giving users control over what they see. However, evaluating the quality of submissions and determining an acceptable volume of such content proved to be highly subjective and time consuming.

For these reasons, AI-generated content is no longer allowed.

Works created by artists who use AI as an assistive tool within their creative process are still permitted, provided that the majority of the work is shaped through direct human effort.
